It is with great sadness that we are giving our beloved pet up for adoption. Stella is a five year old purebred English Bulldog. We got her from Huskerland Bulldogs as an adult approximately 2 years ago. She was previously a breeder dog and was not housetrained. After working with her we were able to housetrain her after about a month. Recently she has regressed in her housetraining because she does not want to go outside. We have consulted our vet and a behavior specialist and believe this is due to her fear of something in our backyard. With the milder weather she has shown some improvement. Because of her previous success in housetraining and her negative association with our backyard in particular we are hopeful that she can be successful again in a different environment. She is very sweet and docile. She loves to be held and petted. She is good with kids and other dogs. She has not been around cats so we are not sure if she is good with cats. However, based on her personality generally we would not expect issues. She has never shown any aggression whatsoever and does not bark.
