Description

Baby Quakers ready to go to their new homes. Fully trained and tamed, they are used to being handled and trained daily. These babies are extremely friendly and at the perfect age to starting bonding strongly with their new owners. We reinforce good behavior in them and get them used to everything, they play and interact with dogs, cats, children and other birds. Quakers don't have one shy feather, they love being silly and goofy and are very playful with toys or hands. At the moment these babies step up and lay on their backs when safely held in your hand. They have learned to trust humans and enjoy being around us all the time. They have set bedtimes to which they go into their cages for. We've gotten them used to chop diet and quality pellet diet. The colors on these babies are vibrant and healthy. They've been vet checked and have been tested. They are fully examined and weighed in daily to keep track of growth. Some things to know about quakers... They make wonderful low maintenance pets, in the sense that when properly trained and with the right supplies its easy to clean, they are potty trained and know where to go poop (inside their cage or nearby perch or designated can) Quakers are extremely smart, they can learn to talk and say many words, they are well known to learn up to 60 words. And they learn to talk at a very early age. In my experience we have many that have started saying words as young as 4 months old. They have lots of personality, they are a big bird in a small body. They can be very verbal and expressive and you quickly start to learn their behavior once you share a home with one. Qaukers bond with their owners strongly, they can bond with a person or a family unit. All our parrots get used to our children and our other pets and we've never had issues, they enjoy each others companionship. For any questions regarding the availability of these babies or about quakers, feel free to email us. We enjoy talking with potential adopters. We love educating and learning about those who want to join the wonderful world of owning a parrot.
