Solid, Multiple styles player. Acoustic or electric. Back vox. Telecaster, Les Paul, acoustic/electric 6 string guitar as well as an acoustic/electric Resonator guitar, also an SG strictly for open tunings, electric slide. Play with fingers and or a pick, depending on what sound is needed. Also, 6 String Lap Steel tuned to C6 & an 8 string lap Steel, tuned to E 13 prospectively. Tube combo amp. Volume conscious. Quick study. Young looking & acting 55. Transportation, reliable honest with 40 yrs. Performing Experience on both coasts. Not into the political spectrum, the news, or religious dogma. Doesn't mean I'm not aware, I just choose to give my attention to things that bring happiness & joy. I am Spiritual, I follow Nichirin Buddhism, I do Gongyo 2x per day. Not into hard living.....or party favors. Too old for that circus. Just did an audition with a great bunch of guys in my age bracket, thought I would have gotten the gig, but they seem to be on the fence. Supposed to go back In a week or so. Possibly maybe, I'll land the gig. With all due Respect, I can't put all my eggs in one basket, so I'd better keep looking...just in case. Solo artists, Duos, Trios or a band that needs a solid pro minded player. Really just want to be in one band that gigs 2-4 times a month. Not into being in multiple bands. (Cat chasing its tail). I'm not a drinker, non tobacco user, 420 friendly, easy going but pro minded and need the work. Due to health challenges - playing and performing music is my Job. Faves - Les Paul, Hank Williams, Don Helms, Willie Nelson, Buddy Holly, all 3 Jimmies, Duane Allman, The Allman Betts Band, Billy Strings, David Bowie, Mick Ronson, Keith Richards, Ry Cooder, Ben Harper, basically, music from the heart. 1900 to present and anything old timey.. Or Americana, From instruments, clothes, girls, music and art.
