Warehouse Associate position available in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. This is a full-time position with a three-month probationary period, hours are 9 am – 5 pm Monday – Friday, starting pay is up to $16 per hour. Excellent growth opportunity! Benefits: • Medical/Dental/Prescription • Healthcare savings account with employer matching Essential Functions: The essential functions are the tasks, duties, and responsibilities that are critical to the job; the employee must be able to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. • Pick orders accurately and promptly with a barcode scanner. • Assemble boxes and pack orders for shipment. • Receive incoming inventory promptly and accurately. • Accurately barcode received inventory and restock in designated storage areas. • Ensure warehouse and shipping/receiving areas are clean and orderly. • Load and unload trucks with a pallet jack. • Monitor warehouse supplies and advise management on purchasing. • Maintain the organizational layout of the warehouse. • Routine inventory control checks. • Attending meetings and training sessions. • Other operations tasks as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience: • Ability to use standard office equipment, including but not limited to computerized bar code scanner, printer, and standard warehouse equipment/tools/machines. • Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50lbs. • Ability to stand/walk/lift, pull, and push during the entire work shift. • Previous experience and training in the use of a pallet jack is a plus but not necessary. • Ability to read alpha-numeric characters, including product SKU numbers, and instructions. • Basic math and reasoning skills. • Ability to work with limited supervision. • Strong oral communication skills.
