CDL local driver & Shop help JOB SUMMARY: Shop clean up, occasional truck driver and general helper in equipment repair shop. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Drive company cranes and bucket trucks locally to repair shops or deliver to customers. Occasional overnight trips to shuttle equipment to and from manufacturers. • Janitorial work, sweeping, painting, mopping, trash removal, maintaining cleanliness of shop area and grounds. • Running errands in company vehicles. • Parts room stocking. • Steam clean trucks as needed QUALIFICATIONS /PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • High School diploma or equivalent • Current CDL driver’s license • Self-starter, organized. • Familiarity with general hand tools. • Exposure to inclement weather and wet, wash bay environment (weather gear provided). • Exposure to cleaning detergents and chemical solutions. • Climbing up and down ladders and handholds. • Use pressure washing equipment while standing on wet surfaces. • Operate a forklift and pass OSHA operators test. • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, bending. • Ability to lift 50lbs regularly and more from time to time. • Requires pushing/pulling with 10 - 20 pounds of force regularly -- 50 lbs of force occasionally WAGES AND BENEFITS: • $17 – $18 Hourly rate depending on experience • Group health, life, dental and Long-Term Disability insurance after 60 days. • 401(k) plan after one year of continuous employment at age 21. • Paid vacation. • Work uniforms supplied by company.
