Now hiring for a general labor position at Comtech in Fayetteville to assist the Special Projects Manager. Tasks will include: Cutting wood with a band saw, operating a forklift, assisting the maintenance department with equipment installs, cleanup of the industrial site, operating heavy equipment, ect. Work schedule will generally be Mon-Thur 7:00-5:30, and Friday from 7:00-12:00. Tuesday evenings may require staying later, and occasional weekend work will be required. Overtime will be available.
Starting pay will be $16/hr. with benefits after a positive 90 day evaluation. Applicant needs to have a good work ethic, and good common sense as they will be operating equipment that could be hazardous when treated with neglect.
Skills that would be helpful but not initially required are: experience operating a forklift, experience operating heavy equipment, experience driving large trucks, ect. Learning to operate a forklift proficiently will be a requirement by the time of the 90 day evaluation. Background check and drug screening will be required. Applicant will be required to have a valid drivers license.
