Amtec Service Company provides annual gas leak surveys for clients across the Southern California area. We are looking for a person who has experience in general labor and is good with hand tools. You are not required to know anything about our industry as we will teach you everything you need to know. We specialize in natural gas detection, corrosion prevention, and gas line repair. You will utilize gas detection equipment to survey facilities for natural gas or propane leaks and code violations. When a leak or violation is found, you will perform the necessary repairs. Amtec Technicians work on underground and above ground gas lines, performing any trenching / digging necessary to excavate and repair any found leaks. Our Technicians work alternative work schedules, four days a week ten hour days. Amtec provides clients with 7 days a week emergency service. If a gas leak emergency arises, an Amtec Technician is expected to be able to arrive at the office promptly. Technicians are assigned to work "Out of Town" for their work week, along with another team member. Amtec pays for hotels and meals during this time. Out of Town work weeks can be expected twice a month. Field Service Technician Trainee: Clean driving record a must Ability to work with power tools and hand tools Have past laborer experience Willing to work alternate work schedule (4 days at 10 hours each day). Typically Monday - Thursday Willing & able to work overtime Starting pay $16.00 to $18.00 per hour based on experience Pay increases to $20.00 - $21.00 per hour after 90 days Must be located within 30 minute driving distance from office ( Near Temecula DMV) to respond to gas leak emergencies quickly Email your resume for review and we will contact you for an interview.
