~~~ NO HIRED GUNS!?! NONE MONEY HERE FOR YOU ~~~ I have a self-recorded solo project of originals being finished right now. The album will be released in the Spring of 2022. I have connections to the genre appropriate blogs and such that WILL be behind it. I also have opportunities to play out live (good shows) and need a band! IF there is money to be had, it gets split four/five ways but this IS a "joining a band" situation. It is NOT a hired gun situation. There is no label (yet) so no advance as in NO MONEY. The album is written so you will need to like, preferably LOVE, the tunes and play very close to if not exactly what's on the recordings. It's not hard but it's solid and steady power-pop rock and roll. No prog fills, no double-time, no break beats, etc.... This is PERFECT for the over-40 guy who hasn't given up yet as that's what I am but I'm not an ageist and don't care about that AS LONG AS you're over 21 and LOOK rock and roll AND can back it up. I look the part and so should you. This is VERY important along with your skill. We will NOT look like bunch of soccer dads that just loaded out of a Subaru. NO addicts of any kind. NO personality crisis. Have your $hit together. Simple. This will NOT be a five nights a week across the five boroughs grind. I have a home studio/rehearsal space with a kit. You'll do your homework, show up to rehearsals until the live set is down, and then we'll do GREAT gigs in front of actual crowds. Promise. Most likely power-weekends around the tri-state.
