Weed control company looking to hire and train someone to be a weed control spray technician. After training you would need to take the spray technician state test. This is working outdoors in the heat and cold. If you have never worked outdoors in the heat, this is probably not for you. It requires pulling around a hose. It is labor intensive. It is a great job to keep you in shape. So you will need to be physically fit and in good health. It requires good memory, common sense, ability to communicate with others, ability to follow directions, ability to be self motivated and disciplined since you will eventually be on your own, basic math skills, ability to keep work truck and work station clean and in order, no bad language. You need a valid drivers license since you will eventually be driving your own truck. You need a great work ethic, no slackers. You need to be able to take corrective criticism. A good upbeat attitude is a must. We work year round, no winter lay offs. Normally just Monday-Friday with weekends off (unless there were rain days we have to make up for). No smoking in company vehicles. No cell phone usage during the work day except during lunch. The shop is located 2 miles east of Frontier City amusement park (122nd Str and Midwest Blvd). $14-$16 depending on abilities, experience and work ethic. TEXT ONLY TYLER 405-394-5258
