Located in NJ, NY, OH, & PA. Continental Auto Parts' new warehouse totals over 500,000 square feet and serves as a model with one of the first fully functioning electronic order processing systems for the after-market automotive parts industry. We are actively looking for Warehouse Workers, Delivery Drivers, Shuttle Drivers & Call Center Representatives for our Newark, NJ location. __________________________________________________________________________ WAREHOUSE WORKERS The Candidates will be placed in different department based on experience and operational needs. * Picking Department * Shipping Department * Receiving Department * Stoking Department * Pick-Up Department * Wheel Department * Bumper Department * Returns Department * Maintenance Department * Office Department Requirements: * Coordinate distribution process with various departments * Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, or other related field * Deadline and detail-oriented * 2 years working in a warehouse environment * Be able to help out in the warehouse as needed * Other duties assigned by the Manager/Supervisor Qualifications include: * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. * Knowledge of Auto Parts industry is a plus * English is required (bilingual is a big plus) * Forklift/Picker Certified with a valid certification is a plus!Computer Literacy is big plus! * Computer Literacy is a big Plus! __________________________________________________________________________ DELIVERY DRIVERS As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for operating a small company box truck to deliver and pickup parts efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and be a reliable team player. Delivery Driver Requirements: * 2-3 years delivery experience preferred. * Experience driving a box truck is required. * Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Qualifications include: * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. * Knowledge of Auto Parts industry is a plus. * Must be able to speak, read and write in English. ***COMMISSION MAY BE EARNED AFTER 30 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT*** __________________________________________________________________________ SHUTTLE DRIVERS As a Shuttle Driver you will be responsible in transferring parts between different locations. Delivery Driver Requirements: *Transfer parts in between locations as assigned, *Be able to operate a 26ft. truck. *Delivery and pickup parts timely and efficiently. *Communicate with Branch Manager, Warehouse Manager, Dispatcher and Purchasing Departments for delivery/pickup instructions and schedules. *2 years working as a Delivery Driver. *2 years working as a Shuttle Driver. *Be able to help out in the warehouse as needed. *Keep assigned truck/van clean. *Other duties assigned by the Manager/Supervisor. Qualifications include: *High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. *Knowledge of Auto Parts industry is a plus. *English is required (bilingual is a big plus). *Valid Driver’s License. __________________________________________________________________________ CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE The successful candidate will research and promote opportunities to increase revenue. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, goal oriented, and willing to work within a team environment. Call Center Representative Requirements: *Edit orders received for pricing. *Informs customer of unit price, shipping date, anticipated delays and any additional continue information needed by the customer. *Writes on order forms or enters data into the computer, to determine the total cost for customer. *Assigns customer order’s shipping dates. Routes order to department for filing and follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates. *Records or files copy of orders received according to expected to delivery date. *Communicates with the Finance Department regarding credit availability. *Check inventory control and notify sales Manager of orders that would deplete stock. *Recommends type of packing or labeling needed on order *Be knowledgeable of company policies, procedures, practices, product and service. *Other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager. Qualifications include: *High School or equivalent preferred. *2-3 years’ experience of customer service and/or sales. *Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred. Other Skills: *Computer literate, *Excellent customer service skills, *Good communicate skills, *Ability to work under pressure. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM or 830AM-530PM & at least 1 Saturday per month ***COMMISSION WILL BE EARNED AFTER 30 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT*** __________________________________________________________________________ COVID-19 considerations: We have been and we are still very cautious to the COVID-19 pandemic.
