Day's Home Solutions is a well-established, state licensed building contractor specializing in high quality remodeling, renovation and reconstruction. We do quality work because we hire quality team-oriented people. We currently have the following FULL TIME positions available: Skilled finish carpenters Carpenter apprentices. Our candidates are encouraged to bring a updated copy of your resume. We are seeking the following requirements in a candidate: Must: • Have your own tools • Be self-motivated • Be physically able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. • Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written • Be able to produce quality work in a production-based setting • Have your own transportation to and from shop • Have a clean drivers license • Must be able to pass drug test -We are a growing company with opportunity for advancement based on performance. Primary Skills/ Responsibilities: • Install cabinets and molding. • Remodel homes and businesses. • Work with blueprints or instructions from supervisors. • Install partitions, doors, and windows. • Work with materials such as wood and drywall. • Repair and replace interior and exterior wall texture finishes such as stucco. • Precisely measure and also be able to estimate height, width, length, and other proportions. • Use levels, rulers, and framing squares to ensure everything is level and secure. • Join materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives. • Work with ladders, and scaffolding. • Check work along the way to ensure it's up to code and specifications. • Create structures for pouring concrete. • Replace panes of glass, ceiling tiles and doors. • Demolition Experience: • Carpentry: 1 year apprentice, 5 years Skilled Education: • High school or equivalent (Required) License: • Must have a valid Florida Driver's License and clean record (Required) We offer the following benefits: - Health - Vision - Dental - Life - Short & Long term disability - Paid Holidays & vacation Please respond to this email with your resume and contact information including, first and last name and phone number.
