Company Maui Greens is a young technology company that was founded in Maui, HI and is now expanding its team on the US mainland. We have developed a novel and disruptive process and technology for indoor vertical growing using a unique hybrid growing process that yields highly differentiated “live” products that customers love for their freshness, taste and unique presentation, and at a cost that is much lower than any other indoor growing process. Our growing process has been developed by leading plant scientist and is now going into large volume led by a strong automation team. Until now, we have marketed leafy greens varieties to retailers in Hawaii such as Costco, Whole Foods, Safeway, and others. We are now looking for an energetic, driven and innovative leader to join our team as we expand our operations from Hawaii to the mainland and introduce customers all over North America and eventually the world to our amazing products. Overview We are hiring a Production Worker to assist us with all aspects of our greenhouse production. Responsibilities: - Responsible for plants throughout their entire lifecycle including: Vessel building, seeding, Harvest, Packaging, Driving, Mixing, Scouting, Crop Protection Spraying - Responsible for cleaning areas within and surrounding greenhouse - Assist with grounds maintenance Requirements: · Be able to carry/transport materials upwards of 50 lbs · An ideal candidate should have a clean record, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. · Candidates should have good attention to detail, be able to work quickly, and be self-motivated to work with little supervision · There are no prerequisites needed in the agriculture industry, but any experience would be helpful · Experience as a delivery driver with MARSEC and TWIC credentials is desirable, but not necessary · Forklift ability is desirable, but not necessary
