We are a small local company with big expectations! We operate as an efficient team and we are looking to add a reliable Maintenance/Handy Person to that team! We will be relying on this person to maintain both the interior and exterior of the homes in our rental portfolio as well as contribute to some of our retail renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to move seamlessly from lawn mowing to drywall work (and everything in between) as well as the ability to pivot their focus as priorities change day to day and sometimes even minute to minute. General Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): • Conducting inspections of rental properties • General maintenance calls for tenant occupied rental properties • Performing routine mowing/landscaping on the grounds of some of the rentals/office space/renovation homes • Rental Punch Outs • Perform light plumbing and electrical repairs • Basic drywall work and carpentry • Pressure Washing • Painting interior/exterior of properties • Trash outs of rental turns or purchased homes • Lock changes and rekeys Desired Skills: • Proven experience as maintenance/handyman • Experience with tools and electrical equipment • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems • Good communication skills, verbally and electronically • Customer Service skills and presentation • Well-organized and able to problem-solve • Attention to detail • Able to take direction but also work independently • Basic HVAC, Plumbing, appliance, and electrical know how Must have: • Work truck/van/trailer • Valid Driver's License and insurance • Own a full complement of tools to perform the required functions
