Education series incorporating grief and music, providing by Cornerstone of Hope, a center for grieving children, teens, and adults.
Do you have a favorite song that takes you right back to that time and place of when you first heard it? Or a song that reminds you of a fun memory with a friend or loved one? Supported by science, actively engaging in music transforms our brain and actually helps us to cope in our day to day functioning.
In this session, board-certified music therapist, Cassandra Acree, will play live and recorded music that supports your own individual grieving process. Come with a few ideas of songs that are important to you, and with an open ear to listen to others as they share their stories in song too.
