Theatrical Set Designer/Master Carpenter

Old Library Theatre (OLT), Fair Lawn Recreation Department's resident theater company, is seeking applicants for Set Designer/Master Carpenter for our upcoming production of Lynn Nottage's Pulitzer Prize-winning play "Sweat." Performances will be held at the George Frey Center for Performing Arts in Fair Lawn, NJ November 19-21. The Set Designer/Master Carpenter will be responsible for design, construction, and mounting of the scenery and must be available November 14-21 for the production's load-in, tech week, and strike. Construction and/or mounting cannot begin on-site until November 14, so the ability to design and construct modularly offsite in advance is preferred (but not required). A stipend is available for this position. Applicants should submit a theatrical resume and include samples of prior work and/or a portfolio link.
