Art non-profit seeks a temporary Production Hand for an outdoor sound installation in Prospect Park. The ideal candidate will live local to Prospect Park. The candidate will receive a rate of $100 per day. This position will be required to help with lifting and setting equipment at 7am - 8am, and packing down equipment from 6pm - 7pm during the following dates: Saturday, Sept 18 Sunday, Sept 19 Thursday, Sept 23 Friday, Sept 24 Saturday, Sept 25 Sunday, Sept 26 Thursday, Sept 30 Friday, Oct 1 Saturday, Oct 2 Sunday, Oct 3 Thursday, Oct 7 Friday, Oct 8 Saturday, Oct 9 Sunday, Oct 10 Candidate must be able to: - Arrive on time in the morning and move equipment from the storage area to the adjacent installation site. -Work quickly so that all set-up tasks can be completed and the installation opens to the public promptly at 8am. - Arrive on time in the evening and move equipment from the installation site back into storage. -Handle the equipment with care so that no damage is caused - Lift heavy objects such as speakers, tripods, sand bags, road cases, tables, tents and wooden boxes, safely (approximately 60 lbs)
