Mad Love Music Festival is a celebration of music, life, and community. Established in 2015 in memory of Dave Jodka. Mad Love Music Festival is a one day celebration of music, life, and community at SSC’s Hingham campus. Established in 2015 in memory of Dave Jodka, this outdoor festival features local musicians, food, and drink, and activities for rockers of all ages. Proceeds from Mad Love benefit the Dave Jodka Scholarship for Future Rockers and its current recepients - Overnight! FAQs 1. What is Mad Love Music Festival? Mad Love Music Festival is a one day outdoor celebration featuring local musicians, food and drinks, and activities for the whole family. Proceeds from Mad Love benefit the Dave Jodka Scholarship for Future Rockers at South Shore Conservatory, enabling students from all backgrounds to experience the love of music that Dave inspired in his family and in his life. 2.       Where is Mad Love? Mad Love takes place at South Shore Conservatory’s Hingham campus at One Conservatory Drive, Hingham, MA. The event takes place outside, including the covered Jane Carr Amphitheater. 3.       When is Mad Love? Mad Love is on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 11 am – 5 pm. 4.       Who’s performing at Mad Love? Ahi, Los Elk, These Wild Plains, Aldous Collins Band, Gracie Grace & All the Good Boys, and Mad Love's official student band Overnight! 5.       Is there food at Mad Love? Yes! There are many exciting food options, and guests who are 21+ and have a valid ID can find an adult beverage! 6.       Where do I go once I arrive? When you arrive at SSC, proceed to check-in to get your wristband and enter Mad Love! 7.       Is Mad Love rain or shine? You betcha! 8.       Can I come and go? Yes! Your wristband will give you reentry if for any reason you need to leave. 9.       Is there an ATM onsite? No. SSC and most vendors have mobile pay options, so bring a credit card and some cash! 10.   What am I not allowed to bring to Mad Love? For everyone’s comfort and safety, the following items are not allowed on campus: coolers, outside food and drink, oversized bags, backpacks, any item that can be deemed harmful, and pets. If you need to bring a service animal, please contact [email protected] to confirm. SSC is a non-smoking campus; this include vaping. Please note that there is plenty of seating available at Mad Love. There is also a wide variety of food and drink for the whole family, and many of our vendors are sensitive to food allergies. 11.   Where do I park? Parking is available at Carlson Field off of Bare Cove Park Drive in Hingham. Look for the Mad Love logo! Volunteers will be on hand to direct you, and shuttles will run in a continuous loop through the whole festival so getting to SSC will be a breeze. If you plan to drop your party off at Mad Love before parking, please be respectful of our neighbors and drive cautiously! 12.   Is there Mad Love merch for sale? Yes! Head over to our merch counter for all your Mad Love gear! We’ve got great new items this year, so make the merch counter your first stop and wear your Mad Love gear proudly! Word to the wise, we will probably sell out! SSC is the largest not-for-profit, community school for the arts in Massachusetts, serving over 3,700 students of all ages and abilities at its two campuses and in partnership with schools and social service and community agencies throughout the South Shore.
