Nauset Culinary Arts; Real Food for a Healthy Future!
The Culinary Arts department at Nauset Regional High School strives to offer our students the opportunity to work in a professional environment, learning about food and kitchen safety; learn cooking skills and techniques from around the world; experience simple healthy, tasty foods that they create from scratch with clean, local, organic ingredients as often as possible and explore and expand their palates as they gain the confidence to create a repertoire of their own healthy, delicious signature dishes. Culinary students will learn where their food comes from and how to avoid the heavily processed, nutrient-lacking foods that take up most of the space in our large supermarket chains by utilizing local resources and preservation techniques.
