Tower Tech 1-Foreman We are a small company of about 30 that works in the wireless industry providing installation services for carriers and radio manufacturers to government entities. We are looking for motivated candidates that are looking to travel and work hard. We are based in Chandler, AZ (Phoenix Metro Area) with a branch in Boise, ID. We are currently hiring locally in both areas. We pride ourselves in quality work, customer service and creating an employee friendly work environment. We specialize in the installation, test and turn up of point to point Microwave Communications Systems. We also started a Cellular division. Boise area with do both Microwave and RF. We have contracts with Verizon, Aviat Networks, Microwave Networks, Motorola, Commnet Wireless, Nokia etc. Boise Area Applicants-We are looking for: entry level, Top hand and Carrier add/Cell Mod Foremen. If applying please be prepared for travel 50 to 75% of the time. Most deployments are 1 to 2 weeks with rotations up to three weeks. Position Benefits Competitive Pay $19 to $34/hr depending on experience. PTO- 5 Days Per Year to start Paid Holidays-Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Paid Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance-Packages available after 90 days. Paid Training-Climb Certification, Rigging, OSHA 10/30, RF Awareness, First Aid. 401K Matching (1%). Tower Tech Job Description-Depending on experience level. Climb tower 75% of workdays to complete topside installation work, testing and closeouts. To include mounts, antennas, lines (waveguide, coax, power, fiber and hybrids), Follow proper safety procedures. Safety is high priority in our company. Fully test an antenna/line system as required via PIM or Sweep. Follow detailed installation instructions from verbal communication or manual. Operate Capstan Hoist (Cathead) proficiently. Understand hand, arm and verbal signals, this is an OJT learned skill. Rig equipment such as antennas, radios, and trunk cables. Work closely with the lead to understand the jobsite tasks. Develop and maintain a positive company image and provide a strong example for crew members for quality, safety, and professionalism. Other Requirements: Must work well with your hands. Comfortable working at heights up to 350 feet and more. Must have a positive attitude. The ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Must be reliable. Must have your own set of basic hand tools or if green, be willing to purchase them as you learn. Must play close attention to detail and take pride in your work. Must be able to work OT and weekends as required. Must be able to follow company, client, and governing body (OSHA, FAA, DOT, etc.) safety and operations policies and procedures. This can be physically demanding work, must be able to handle mentally and physically working everyday sometimes up to 10 days in row.
