This half-day, hands-on workshop will teach participants the art and technique of canning seasonal relishes and salsas. DESCRIPTION: This half-day, hands-on workshop will teach participants the art and technique of canning seasonal relishes and salsas using delicious (Landcraft and North Fork fruits and vegetables). Participants will take home their canned relishes and salsas. PRESENTED BY: Maryann Birmingham, Certified Food Preservationist & Proprietor, Case's Place (New Suffolk, NY) ENROLLMENT: 4 Min - 6 Max AGE: 18+ WEATHER: Rain or shine. SPECIAL NOTES: Workshop will take place in the professional kitchen at Case's Place Restaurant, 650 First Street, New Suffolk, NY (Phone: 631-734-8686). All canning materials will be provided. Light refreshments will be served. Participants should bring an apron, hair tie, and wear closed shoes. Landcraft Garden Foundation Credit will be given for the full ticket price , minus any Eventbrite processing fees.
