Join us for The Amelia's kick-off to its wellness retreat series, featuring yoga and meditation teacher, Courtney Deri.
October is arguably the best month of the year for visiting upstate New York, when the leaves are turning and the air crispy. We choose October to kick off our wellness retreat series. Come and spend a day in the garden to clear your mind, stretch your body and streghten your core.
The day is led by Courtney Deri, a popular yoga and wellness instructor who has taught for many yoga and fitness studios including; Y7, SYNC, Yoga Shanti, and The Class. Courtney currently teaches for Vera Yoga as she continues to practice and study under the guidance of many lineages in NYC and Los Angeles.
A healthy and nourishing lunch and coffee/tea will be provided.
Please note that we plan to have the retreat outdoors. Subject to rain, it will be moved indoors (for those who are comfortable) while following covid-safetey protocols. Proof of vacinnation is required. Mats will be available, but attendees are welcome to bring their own should they be more comfortable.
While the itinerary is still being finalized with further details, below is the tentative breakdown:
10am - Arrivals + Wellness Shot
10:30am - Opening Circle and Meditation
11am - 12:15pm - Sculpt Class
12:30pm - Lunch
2pm - 3:15pm - Yoga Class
3:30pm - 4pm - Closing Circle and Meditation
Optional Wine + Juice Retox
Overnight accommodation is available for those who wants to spend more time in Hudson. 20% discount would be provided for participates.
To get to Hudson: approx 2 hours mins by car from NYC or Fairfield County, CT; or via Amtrak (there is a 7:15am depature from Penn Station and a 4:52pm return departure from Hudson, $20 each way if booked early).
