Multiple Positions Available: Will train! This is a great opportunity to go from a job to a career. Most of our ground hands will be trained as lineman. Groundman/Laborer position, full time, year around position. You will be expected to perform tasks involving physical labor for telecommunications construction projects. You will be asked to assist workers within Company on different task, which could include, but are not limited to the following task. You would be responsible for performing all tasks to the highest industry standard. Groundman: • Load and track stock used on a daily/weekly basis. • Ensure all tools, equipment and material are ready for the lineman. • Lift over 75 lbs. • Install cones and signs adhering to a Traffic Management Plan and remove at the end of the day. • Drive aerial bucket truck while Lineman works on utility poles, preps for and assist Lineman when needed. • Do daily paperwork to track daily progress and fill out DOT required paperwork. • We are looking for groundman that would like to be trained as a lineman after learning the groundman position at the highest level. Not all ground hands will have the ability to advance. We are looking for people that want to work hard to learn a valuable trade and advance throughout our company. Laborer: • Watch underground/overhead utilities while the foreman trenches • Load support truck with materials and tools needed to carry out a job • Rake, shovel, and lift over 75 lbs. • Ability to take direction • Proof conduit and pull cable What we offer Your benefits will include a competitive compensation plan and paid time off benefit.
