Join Congresswoman Veronica Escobar (TX-16) for a mindful hike in honor of Suicide Prevention Month 2021 on Saturday, Sepetmber 18 at 7:30 a.m. MT. This 2-mile mindful hike will give El Paso veterans the opportunity to connect with Congresswoman Escobar, discuss the importance of suicide prevention, and learn from a mental health professional how to incorporate mindfulness techniques in your daily life. Representatives from the El Paso VA Health Care System, Team RWB, and The Mission Continues will be in attendance to provide information about their services and opportunities. Water and light refreshments will be provided. Congresswoman Escobar proudly represents Texas’ 16th Congressional District in El Paso. She serves on the prestigious House Judiciary Committee, as well as the House Armed Services Committee.
