Community Child Care Center at Colfax is hiring a part time Janitor/Cleaner! Qualifications: Ability to lift 50 pounds. The ability to work unsupervised. Must successfully pass a background check as required by CCCC. Must pass a DEL Portable Background check. Daily Cleaning Entry / Hallways / Common Area 1. Vacuum all hallways, office common 2. Clean glass on both entry doors inside and out 3. Clean dark brown metal fingerprints / smudges on front door entry way 2 Restrooms: 1. Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks 2. Clean mirrors 3. Sweep and mop floors 4. Check nightly, and refill toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap as needed 5. Empty trash and replace liners 3 Classrooms: 1. Vacuum all carpeted areas, including area and floor rugs 2. Sweep and mop floors Weekly Deep Cleaning 1. Spot clean walls / cabinets fronts 2. Spot clean all interior doors / kick plates 3. Clean and sanitize • classroom sinks / countertops • back lunch room sink / countertop Requirements: Reliability to be available Monday through Friday evening. Successfully complete all duties in a timely manner.
