Band Beyond Description Live at Rosebud Crazy Horse Presents ALL AGES Band Beyond Description taps in to the deepest recesses of GD magic under the stars at Nevada City's most mystical outdoor venue. You didn’t really think Band Beyond wasn’t happening again, did you? The Third Thursday tradition continues in the great outdoors at an enchanted place known as Rosebud. Only ten minutes from the Crazy Horse, this property is blossoming with positive vibes. The expansive area is perfectly suited to social distancing. Before Band Beyond Description returns to its rightful home, you don’t want to miss this rare opportunity to see the band blast off into the cosmos under a sea of stars. The intrepid ginger guitar pirate himself – Jonny Mojo – will guide us into uncharted waters as we are so accustomed. His trusty co-captain Gary Campus will be driving the ship with that perma-grin beaming behind the drum kit. Nevada City’s most talented new resident - Jesse August Jennings (formerly of The Higgs) - will mystify the audience into a state of levitation with his remarkable keyboard sorcery. Returning to the fold on ultra-funky, liquid jazz, limb-lubricating bass is a BBD fave – Jonathan Stoyanoff (Joe Craven and the Sometimers, The Bumptet) Unlike the gigs at the Crazy Horse, this one WILL IN FACT START ON TIME at 6:30pm sharp. Please come early, a camp chair, BYOB, dinner and whatever you might like to be comfortable. Please DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG. It’s ultimately your decision, but we think wearing a mask is the cool thing to do while in close proximity to others nowadays. Throwing balls of love and energy from afar is advisable. We are not doing mandatory Covid protocols but we expect you to apply them on your own volition of high integrity. Even if you are vaccinated, please take into account whoever you have been around recently. If you aren’t feeling well or even have the slightest doubt whether you have possibly been exposed to someone with Covid, please do us all a favor and sit this one out.
