The event showcases wine, spirits, chefs and culinary personalities.The one-day event consists of open air walk around tasting. This Event is hosted by the Oxnard Downtown Lions Club. Oxnard Downtown Lions Club started in 2016 serves the Ventura County Area and is based in Downtown Oxnard, they meet the 1st Wednesday at 1:30pm and 3rd wednesday at Tomas Cafe in Oxnard at 6:30pm. "We Serve" Mission Statement. To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs. TO COORDINATE the activities and standardize the administration of Lions clubs. TO CREATE and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of the world. TO PROMOTE the principles of good government and good citizenship. TO TAKE an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community. Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization. Its 1.4 million members are dedicated to bettering the quality of life for the handicapped, the poor, the sick and the aged.
