Trunk or Treat & "Hocus Pocus" in the Park!

On October 30, 2021, the spirits will walk Veterans Park seeking treats and entertainment. But the greatest spirit of these will be the Spirit of Community! Join us in celebrating Halloween and the fall season with a community-wide Trunk or Treat, followed by a showing of "Hocus Pocus" (Rated PG) on a giant 33' screen in the park. The Trunk or Treat will take place 6p-8p, with the movie beginning at 8:15p. The event is sponsored by the Soddy-Daisy Community Library and the David Casteel State Farm Insurance Agency. We are inviting organizations, businesses, and non-profits to set up a Trunk or Treat station to hand out treats, play games, and entertain the families of our community. There is no cost to participate. You are encouraged to decorate your vehicle/space (1 parking space per group). A contest will be held for those choosing to decorate, with prizes presented in 3 categories: Most Creative DIY Space, Most Inventive Design, and Community Favorite (voted on by participants). Organizations must submit this application for vetting purposes to be allowed to participate. The deadline for submission is Monday, October 18 at 4pm to be included. Setup for the event may begin at 4:30p and must be completed by 5:45p.
