Join us for our exciting kick-off rally of the Fall 40 Days for Life Prayer Vigil. We will hear from our local campaign leader, Bethany Pinos Luzuriaga, as well as a keynote speaker, Steven Coplon. This will begin the local Memphis campaign, and will get you and your friends, church, and community excited and motivated to be part of the change here in Memphis! Don't miss out, and invite your friends! 10AM-11AM, Saturday, 9/18 Independent Presbyterian Church Coffee and Gibson's Donuts Entrance/parking info: The event is in the fellowship hall. You can go to the portico that has a circle drive, marked "main entrance." Then the fellowship hall is past the check-in desk on the left! 40 Days for Life is an internationally coordinated 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and a peaceful all-day vigil in front of abortion businesses. It focuses on bringing together the body of Christ in a spirit of unity to access God’s power through prayer and fasting to turn hearts and minds from a culture of death to a culture of life, thus bringing an end to abortion.From September 22 to October 31, our community will unite with hundred of thousands of others from coast to coast – and internationally – for a major simultaneous pro-life mobilization – the 40 Days for Life campaign. Faithful believers are praying these efforts will mark the beginning of the end of abortion. Keynote Speaker: Steven Coplon, CEO of Life Choices of Memphis Steve Coplon has nearly 40 years of experience in healthcare management, business management, Finance, politics & public policy making, and advocacy. He currently serves as CEO of Life Choices of Memphis. Life Choices is best known for being devoted to sharing the love of Christ to women in crisis pregnancies – helping them make life affirming decisions for their babies. Steve came to Christ in 1982 while pursuing a career on Wall Street. The Lord relocated him to Memphis where he met his wife, Debra, of 37+ years. They have 5 children and 5 grandchildren. He is certain that Jesus Christ is our only hope and He, assuredly, can make the foulest clean and set the sinner free through the power of His blood, the cross, and the Holy Spirit. *MASKS strongly recommended by Independent Pres* Memphis Coalition for Life is a local 501(c)3 nonprofit in Memphis organized to end abortion in Memphis, TN--peacefully and prayerfully.
