A standup comedy show in a dojo. And there will be a drawing at the end to win a free one month membership at the martial arts gym. West Coast Martial Arts Academy was started in 2007.  It was started by five partners, one of which was Hank Deutschendorf.  Hank developed schizophrenia in 2008, and fought an uphill battle to continue teaching and training despite his illness.  Due to the stigma of schizophrenia, Hank chose to tell no one but close friends about his illness for fear of the impact the stigma would have on the school.  Will and Hank Deutschendorf ended up becoming the sole owners of the business in 2012.  The school has been located in 4S Ranch the past 10 years and is dedicated to improving the community through the martial arts.
