Picketing protest against the abortion laws in SC and other states like TX Over 90 organizations across all 50 states are coming together on October 2nd to stand up for women's rights after a recent law in Texas that now bans abortions at only 6 weeks. The Supreme Court will reconvene on October 4th regarding the new law in Texas. It is important that our voices are heard before this date and that we stand up for the women in Texas. This South Carolina event will be a picketing protest in front of and on the sidewalks of the SC State House. We will be holding signs to protest against the abortion laws in SC and other states like TX. Please show up with signs that show your support for a woman's right to choose what she wants to do with HER body. *Please wear a mask due to COVID-19, and I encourage you to bring water and sunscreen because it will likely be hot on October 2nd. **It will be from 10 AM to NOON. If you want to come early and/or stay late, that is definitely okay!
