4 Parakeets

I'm moving to Chicago soon and have decided after a lot of thinking it's better for my parakeets to remain in the valley where they'll be happier and won't be subject to the stress of a 3 day car trip and different climate. Two of the parakeets are older and bonded. One of the older ones has a medical issue. Not too much special care is needed for it but you should be aware of it. The two older parakeets are not handleable and in my opinion are too old to be trained for handling. The other two parakeets are younger (1-2 years old at most) and also bonded. One of them is handling resistant but could be trained. The other is the same but will actually sit on your hand and allow himself to be picked up once outside his cage. I am giving them away with their cages, all their toys, and any leftover food and supplies I have for them. No fee is needed but I want to give them to someone who genuinely cares about parakeets and their wellbeing. I'd rather any money you'd give me go towards establishing them in their new home. The ideal new owner would be able to prove to me they know their stuff about birds OR be willing to maintain contact with me and learn how to properly care for them. I'd love to maintain contact with the new owner so every once in awhile I could check in on them, but I understand if that's not something you're comfortable with. I can be contacted at 76O-548-89I5.
