WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington's annual Town Wide Yard Sale will take place Sept. 18 this year, Wilmington Memorial Library said. The yard sale will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The library sponsors the annual event, providing publicity for participants. Over 60 households have held yard sales in recent years, while hundreds of people have shopped at the annual event. To hold a yard sale, residents must apply by Saturday. For a $15 application fee, participants receive yard sale signs and publicity. Participation is limited to the first 65 signups. Sign up at the library, 175 Middlesex Ave. Maps of yard sales will be available at the library and Market Basket starting Sept. 15.
