Donation-based yoga event to raise money for the Hassanzada family and other Afghan families who recently evacuated Afghanistan. All proceeds will go to benefit the 14 members of the Hassanzada Family who are being evacuated from Afghanistan. The Story: The Hassanzada family has several brothers who served as interpreters, one of whom served during Joe's first deployment in 2009. I started my Yoga Teacher Training in an effort to help those who returned from war, so this is a deeply personal experience for us. We hope to aid the family as they continue to travel & relocate with family memebers including 6 toddlers, 1 baby, and 1 newborn. The Class: This donation yoga class will be a round-robin-style practice of 108 Sun Salutations on the Patio of Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum. This is a casual event so please come if you wish to participate or just come for the support! Please bring your own mat or have a seat in the patio area. We hope you can join us to honor those who served and volunteered to help rescue our Afghan Allies, by helping raise money for those starting a new life! Thank You, Sarah & Joe Jackson
