TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury police seized over 50 grams of fentanyl and arrested two people following a traffic stop Tuesday morning, the police said. Around 1:08 a.m. police stopped an erratic driver, according to the police narrative. On further investigation, the police seized over 54 grams of fentanyl and arrested two. Maxine Parmenter, 36 of Winchendon, was charged with trafficking over 10 grams of fentanyl, a subsequent offense of possession of buprenorphine and naloxone sublingual film and driving with a suspended license. Aaron Robbins, 38 of Marlborough, was charged with trafficking fentanyl, possession of buprenorphine and naloxone sublingual film and operating under the influence of drugs. Buprenorphine and naloxone sublingual film is a prescription medication used to treat opioid dependence. Both were due to be arraigned in Lowell District Court Tuesday. All people are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
