Corey, Canapary & Galanis seeks fully bilingual Spanish language interviewers. Candidates must also be culturally knowledgeable of Hispanic/Latin/Spanish-speaking culture(s) in/around San Francisco and the Bay Area. IMPORTANT: This is not a full time job, but rather an as-needed/on-call position. In addition candidates must have: 1. Availability late afternoon to evening at least 2-3 days per week; ideally one of these days is Saturday or Sunday; and 2. A working computer with Internet access, as well as a telephone, which can be easily used without interruptions. Interviewing will be done from your home, but according to our specific protocols and procedures. You will be using our systems/software via the Internet and will be monitored electronically while using such systems. You will be required to follow all survey protocols for each project, which will be reviewed with you prior to starting work. We have a very timely need for a very small (1-3 day) project within the next 2 weeks. Other projects will be scheduled with the successful candidate(s) as they arise. NOT NECESSARY BUT A PLUS: If also willing to conduct occasional Spanish-language interviewing in person/on site (in the Bay Area) as well (e.g. on specific projects on an as-needed basis). Your work history for the last 5 years, including any/all Spanish language interviewing experience; 2. Your proficiency in Spanish (particularly speaking, understanding, and interpreting in real time); for example, how well could you read an item in English and say the same thing to someone in Spanish on the phone? 3. Explain how well you understand/know of Hispanic/Latin/Spanish-speaking cultures, particularly in the San Francisco/Bay Area; 4. Your availability for such on-call work (days/times available); 5. Confirmation you possess the equipment to do this work from home (see above); 6. Confirm whether or not you would be willing to conduct occasional in-person interviewing as well; and 7. Your desired hourly rate. No phone calls. We abide by the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
