Just in time for Halloween, the Moravian Historical Society is bringing back its wildly popular spooky walking tour!
Join us on Friday or Saturday during the last two weekends in October (22-23 and 29-30) at 7:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. for a lantern-led edition of our Historic Walking Tour. Featuring ghost stories of Nazareth, this lantern-led, costume-guided tour provides an overview of Colonial Nazareth. Learn about the founding of Nazareth, see where some of the oldest buildings in Nazareth are still standing today, and hear about some of the spooky stories about the Whitefield House, Nazareth Hall, and other historic areas!
Tours depart from the Whitefield House at 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Tickets are $12 per person. MHS members are free as are children five and under.
The Moravian Historical Society (MHS) is a nonprofit museum and historic site that preserves, interprets, and celebrates the rich culture of the Moravians. MHS maintains the 1740-1743 Whitefield House and the 1740 Gray Cottage, the oldest Moravian structure in North America. Recognized for its significant collection and historically important 18th century site and buildings, MHS shares this fascinating history through educational programs, guided tours, engaging museum exhibits, and public events.
We are proud to be a Preserve America Stewards Award winner, a Blue Star Museum, and a partner with National Geographic Magazine's Delaware River geotourism project.
