PEABODY, MA — Peabody will host three ceremonies on Saturday to honor victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks on their 20th anniversary.
The public is invited to attend all three ceremonies.
The first is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. where Peabody police will conduct a ceremony at the September 11 Memorial on Grandview Avenue.
The second will be at 9:30 a.m. at the Peabody Public Safety Memorial on Perkins Street across from Emerson Park.
Mayor Ted Bettencourt will lead the third ceremony at 11:30 a.m. when members of the school community join him for a ceremony at Barbuto Memorial Garden at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School.
