Hello, we are a four-piece (guitar, fiddle, mandolin, dobro) bluegrass/country/folk band in search of a bass player. We mostly play bluegrass (Flatt and Scruggs, Alison Krauss, Osborne Brothers, Stanley Brothers, etc), old time fiddle tunes, country, and more modern acoustic music in the vein of Tony Rice, David Grisman, and Jacob Joliff. We also do quite a few originals that span those genres and land somewhere in the country/folk realm. Mostly we just want to have fun playing music that feels good. We’d be happy to find someone who wants to join the group and take part in the writing/arranging process, but if you just want to show up, play off the charts, and take off, that's cool too. We’re all in our mid-30s, and we practice once a week in Oakland. We’re all vaccinated.
