I’m looking to get into a project on bass and hopefully synth as well. Into dark heavy stuff mostly but prefer to be dynamic rather than always heavy. My sound is influenced by stuff like Russian Circles, Spotlights, Chelsea Wolfe, Palms, Isis, Caspian, Failure, TLAT, Shiner, O Brother, Puscifer, APC… and a lot of dark weird electronic stuff. Pro gear galore, self employed so I have the time, and plenty of inspiration. Down to be mostly support if it’s good, ideally it would be a full collaboration. I’ve got a good understanding of theory basics, comfortable in odd signatures. I can’t read music. Can improvise well on more basic stuff, not jazz or anything. I like shit that’s a bit tricky at times but not looking for prog. I love chords and massive distortion but I know well when to pull back and blend in. Right now my tone and style is in the direction of stuff like Brian Cook (RC) but I’m adaptable. I’m looking for something somewhere in the realm of the bands listed above, so send me links and let’s chat, hopefully jam! I also have a killer studio if that is needed.
