NEW LONDON, CT — A woman has been arrested in connection with a crash that killed a pedestrian last November in New London, according to police.
Police responded to several 911 calls reporting the crash around 5:50 p.m. on Nov. 16, 2020 in the area of Broad Street and Channing Street in New London.
A man was struck by a car and pronounced dead shortly after emergency crews arrived at the scene, according to Capt. Matthew Galante.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for the driver following a lengthy investigation, according to Galante.
The driver has been identified as Tiesha Clark, who turned herself in at New London Police Headquarters early Wednesday morning.
Clark, 44, of New London, was arrested on charges of misconduct with a motor vehicle, reckless driving, operating under suspension and traveling fast. She was held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
