GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Skatepark will remain open seven days a week through October, and daily and monthly passes – as well as information about hosting birthday parties at the park – are available online. The Skatepark, located at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, is open on weekdays from 3:30-6 p.m. and on weekends from 12:30 to 6 p.m. Hours are weather-permitting. Park entrance costs $10 per day, and monthly passes are available for $30. Greenwich residency (valid as of 2021) must have been approved prior to purchase, except for seniors with a current Park Pass, the town parks and recreation department said on its website. Passes can be purchased here. Additionally, anyone interested in holding a birthday party at the Skatepark can do so from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The Skatepark's ramps and obstacles, a park monitor and picnic tables under a canopy are included for $135, according to a flyer that can be found here. The party – the birthday child plus 19 guests – will have exclusive use of the park. Party-holders should email [email protected] at least three weeks in advance of a desired date to discuss the details and availability.
