Delivery Driver Filling in the Blanks is a non-profit which fights childhood hunger by providing children in need with meals (www.fillingintheblanks.org) Truck Driver Job Responsibilities: Deliver weekend meal bags to locations in CT and NY Pick up materials from various vendors throughout CT and NY Coordinate delivery schedule date/time with Operations Manager Communicate changes/updates/feedback from site contacts with Operations Manager Maintain cleanliness of the truck Maintain truck log Update Operations Manager of any mechanical issues with the truck Warehouse work/inventory/set up of assembly line Requirements: Applicant should have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, a team player, and the ability to pivot to various jobs as needed in relation to driving and warehouse work Valid Driver's License Valid Medical Card Experience driving a box truck (minimum 20-foot truck) Forklift trained Ability to lift at least 50lbs A background check will be required before employment but not before the interview process.
