ROUND ROCK, TX — The Williamson County Precinct One Justice of the Peace Office will be closed to the public and working remotely through Friday, due to possible COVID-19 exposure.
This is the second time the precinct has closed in less than a month due to possible exposure to the virus.
The office began working remotely on Wednesday, Sept. 1 and will continue until Friday. The office is located at 1801 E Old Settlers Blvd #100 in Round Rock.
Authorities first closed its precinct for a possible COVID-19 exposure on Aug. 16 and had officials working remotely for four days.
Officials said all scheduled hearings will be conducted virtually during this time. If you have a scheduled hearing, you can join by calling 346-248-7799 and using the meeting identification number at 985-354-5091. Although the JP1 physical location will be closed during this period, staff will be available to answer questions by phone and email during normal business hours. Additionally, visitors may deposit documents in the JP1 drop box.
