We found a small chihuahua on the streets alone at night so we took her in, tried to find an owner, and had no luck. She has severely rotten teeth, is VERY traumatized and skittish. We’ve had her for months trying to rehabilitate her but it’s just not happening and I can’t take care of her anymore. She is very mean to other animals and she spends all her time in her bed in a little cubbyhole we made for her. Everything scares her and she eats her meals in her bed most the time so she can calm down enough to actually eat. She has had a really hard time gaining weight so she’s very skinny, she also doesn’t drink much water I’m really not sure why. We only feed her canned food because her teeth are so bad off. She needs a very quiet home with someone gentle who will be happy just having her as a lap dog. She needs someone who can take her to the vet and get her the medical care that she needs.
