Description
The Geographical Information Center at CSU, Chico is seeking Mobile Field Testers for a 6-8 week temporary assignment, beginning September 30th (start date is slightly flexible). Job duties include driving to predetermined locations across the state using an automotive GPS unit to navigate. Field testers will run a series of broadband performance tests at each location using a set of cell phones for each major provider.
Travel required Monday-Friday, staying in hotels and then returning home every Friday for the weekend. Testing (working) hours will be 8am to 5pm each day. A two-day training will be provided prior to travel which will cover GPS navigation, operation of the speed testing application and all travel paperwork.
A rental car and all testing equipment needed will be provided. All expenses are paid, and advance check will be provided to cover expenses up front. Candidate must be 21+ years old, reside in and possess a valid CA drivers license. For more information, or to apply, please respond via email.
