Airline catering employees needed. Full-time workers needed. Can also hire part-time. Starting hourly wage: $13/hr. Raises every 6 months. Paid vacations. Health benefits. Very flexible schedules. Shifts available 7 days a week from 6am-11pm. We need DEPENDABLE and PUNCTIONAL workers. It's not like other jobs, where if you don't show up, call in sick frequently, or are late...things go on fine. If you do that here, we don't have enough staff on hand, and people sit in their planes being DELAYED to fly out, because the flight crew is waiting on catering supplies (drinks, snacks, paper supplies, ice, etc). So dependability and being on time, is a must. Also you must be able to pass an airport fingerprint background check. Every person who works at the airport must pass this to have an airport ID. No felony convictions in the last 10 years. A valid Driver's License is much preferred, but not a must. It's a physical, manual labor job, but the heaviest thing lifted is a case of drinks. Our employees (2 persons per truck) drive a truck (similar to a UPS or FedEx style truck) to a plane; and one person goes up into the plane and takes out partially used catering drawers of supplies, and hands down to the co-worker in the truck, and the person in the truck hands up a new drawer, to swap in. It's very simple, but requires some hustle. There are also duties in the warehouse like pre-packing drink drawers, and snack baskets, and other supplies that will go onto the planes by the truck crews. We just need DEPENDABLE workers. And it's quite easy to have a flexible schedule, and also to swap shifts with co-workers for even more flexibility. Our company has more of a family feel than a corporation. www.expcatering.com
