Hutchy Construction LLC is seeking a General Laborer to work at various locations around the Denver Metro area. The Laborer performs various manual labor tasks around Concrete plants & other construction sites. The Laborer may also assist in the maintenance of plant and equipment as well as learn how to operate construction equipment. Benefits • Competitive pay • Development Opportunities • Paid Holidays/Time-off Responsibilities The Laborer will: • Perform manual labor around the plant area (i.e. shoveling, cleaning, etc.) • Recognize and report any noticeable damage to equipment • Clean and maintain walkways, conveyors, screens, steps, etc. as needed • Perform other General Labor (painting, shoveling) duties as assigned by supervisor Skills The ideal candidate will have: • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Ability to sit, stand or walk for an extended period of time • Ability to work outside for an extended period of time in an environment with noise and temperature variations, including confined spaces, high places and excavated areas • Ability to climb up and down ladders, scaffolding and stairs. • Ability to communicate well with co-workers • Ability to read, write and speak English • Arm, hand, and finger dexterity with both hands involved in activities such as reaching, handling, and feeling as well as good eye acuity and hearing. • Willingness & ability to follow directions and learn new skills • Safety certifications (OSHA) a plus Job Type: Full-time or part-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: No previous experience necessary License/Certification: • Driver's License (Required) • Must have reliable transportation and ability to get to various job sites as required.
