NOVATO, CA — The deadline is nearing for Novato residents seeking roles in city government. Applicants for a vacancies on a half dozen committee, commission and board (CCB) vacancies must be submitted by Sept. 17 at 5 p.m. The CCB members are appointed by the City Council and provide oversight to city operations. Members of CCBs make recommendations to City Council and have the opportunity to be involved in upcoming projects and initiatives.
