Evari GIS Consulting, Inc. seeks to hire a Field Technician for a project-based, full-time position that will support field data collection efforts in Covington, TN. Employees will work in Covington area to survey and collect location and attribute data about existing streetlight fixtures. The successful candidate will work as part of a team that travels throughout the city of Covington. The job length is projected to be ~2-3 weeks. New hires will be trained by and work alongside our team of experienced Project Managers and GIS Technicians. Required Skills and Experience Entry-level Comfortable navigating Android tablet Clean driving record Attention to work safety measures Must have their own car Desired Characteristics Strong work ethic, enthusiasm for learning Interest in energy efficiency/infrastructure projects Team player, cooperative, and ability to work well with coworkers Problem-solver, excited about challenges and finding solutions Employment Terms and Benefits: 40 hr. week, 8:30-5:00 pm Flexible schedule after training $15/hr start pay, paid biweekly Reimbursement for documented car mileage while auditing ($.56/mile) Anticipated start date of September 13, project duration 2 months.
