LAGUNA BEACH, CA —National Emergency Preparedness Month continues in Laguna Beach, and on Wednesday, all residents are invited to learn more about how to stay prepared in their neighborhood.
On Wednesday, Sept. 8, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. the Susi-Q Senior Center will be open to all who wish to learn about how to stay safe in your neck of the woods.
"Stop by and learn about personal preparedness, check out your evacuation zone, sign up for emergency alerts and purchase an emergency backpack," Laguna Beach Police Lt. Jim Cota says.
The event will be held outside, on the patio at the community center.
The event is sponsored by the Susi-Q Center, City of Laguna Beach, Laguna Beach Seniors and Laguna Beach Community Emergency Response Team.
Susi-Q Senior Center is located at 380 3rd Street.
